Inviting new members is one of the most effective ways to keep your HealthUnlocked community active, growing, and full of fresh conversations. The email invite feature allows you to proactively reach out to potential members and personally invite them to join your community.


What do email invites look like?

Email invites are personalised with your community and account details to help recipients feel personally invited.



Who can use email invites?

The email invite feature is available to partner accounts. Admins and moderators do not have access to this tool. If you are unsure of your role or believe you require partner access, please contact the HealthUnlocked support team for assistance.


Tips for using email invites effectively

  • Be intentional – Target people who are most likely to benefit from your community. Focus on patients, carers or supporters aligned with your community’s purpose.
  • Follow up with welcoming posts – Once new members join, make sure they feel included by posting welcome messages and highlighting beginner-friendly discussions.
  • Maintain a regular invite rhythm – Using email invites consistently helps sustain steady community growth.

Managing unsubscribes

Recipients can opt out of receiving future email invites from HealthUnlocked at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every invitation.

If you attempt to add an unsubscribed email address to a future invite list, the system will automatically prevent the invite from being sent to that person. If you need more information about this, please contact us.
